Boston, MA- The Isosceles Group, an environmental health and safety management firm, is pleased to welcome Sara Fam to the firm. An environmental, health, and safety scientist, Sara has worked for both the chemical and the paper mill industries. Over the course of her career, Sara has worked on a variety of environmental, health, and safety projects as well as important report submittals for the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), including the Tier II Emergency and Hazardous Chemical Inventory Report. Her work ensured regulatory compliance with federal, state and local agencies and reduced process safety risk. As a Junior Environmental, Health and Safety Associate at The Isosceles Group, Sara will be responsible for researching environmental, health, and safety (EHS) laws and regulatory revisions, writing and editing regulatory update articles for the Quarterly Report and the Global Newsletter, revising EHS protocols, and assisting in consulting work for clients. Sara has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health Science and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health Science (Industrial Hygiene) with a minor in Spanish from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN. Prior to joining The Isosceles Group, Sara worked as an EHS Engineer at a chemical manufacturing plant, where she served as an EHS subject matter expert. In addition, Sara is certified in OSHA 10-hr Construction Safety and Health training course, OSHA 30-hr General Industry Safety and Health training course, and Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor 40-hr Course. Ms. Fam is from Cairo, Egypt and is fluent in speaking Arabic. She also studied Spanish abroad in Alicante, Spain for 5 months.
